“No…resistance will be tolerated”

Shell workers forced to attend Trump rally

You know how you can fold a dollar bill to make it look like a mushroom cloud? Turns out the exact quote telling workers how to behave at a Trump rally they were forced to attend works the exact same way.

Here’s the exact quote:

No yelling, shouting, protesting or anything viewed as resistance will be tolerated at the event. An underlying theme of the event is to promote good will from the unions. Your building trades leaders and jobs stewards have agreed to this.”

– Contractor in charge of the workers forced to either attend or lose a days pay and overtime pay.

Now, I get that we are really warming up to authoritarianism. Some people seem to really, really like it. But this seems a little too on the nose even for the newly cowed and sycophantic land of the free and home of the brave. Forcing workers to feign affection for dear leader? I think we’re all underestimating the virile strength of Trump’s chubby for Kim Jong Il.

Trump even went on to threaten the very union leaders who acquiesced to this bend-over-and-drop-pants fest if they didn’t actively support him.

Now, I know the God-fearing, freedom-loving right is going to eat up this steaming bowl of despotism, but for the rest of the nation, I’d say this ranks as a 5/5.

What do you think?
